I recently stayed at The Sands and it was a memorable experience. The hotel is cozy and has a great beachside location that made access to the ocean super easy. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. However, it does show signs of needing updates and improvements in some areas. Overall, it’s a solid stay for a beach weekend, especially for families looking for an affordable getaway.

We had an unforgettable 25th wedding anniversary at this lovely older hotel. The manager, Tina, made our stay special, as she provided us with a ground floor room, which was a nice touch given our needs. While the room was clean, I noticed it didn't have handicap accessibility. Next year, we're planning to return for our anniversary again. It’s a cozy place with great service, but a few updates could improve the overall experience.
